Adrian Walker
Manager
Adrian graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2006 with an honours degree in Music Technology. Whilst at University he did both live sound and studio based work for a number of venues and artists including Discovery Showcase Talent, working with Get Cape Ware Cape Fly, Scouting for Girls, Steve Edwards & Sandi Thom.
Becoming more involved in music events Adrian developed JamJar at the University of Hertfordshire's students union, a music and media event aimed at giving students an opportunity to gain work experience and live-learning. As co-manager of the event Adrian was responsible for co-ordinating large teams of students. So successful was the venture that it gained sponsorship after just one JamJar evening. The event is now firmly established and growing, now being used for academic student assessments as well as providing valuable experience for students from many different cohorts and courses.
In his first year after leaving university Adrian was the artist liaison of the main stage for a 19,000 capacity one day festival as well as doing artist liaison for a number of smaller venues in and around Hertfordshire. Graduating from his masters degree (Audio Engineering) in 2009, Adrian has gone on to develop more new and exciting projects with UHRecordings. He also established, manages and produces on the student label INFUSE where he has the opportunity of working with a number of new and exciting artists.
