Amanda Paley-Menzies
Composer
Amanda Paley-Menzies studied composition at Trinity College of Music under Antonín Tučapský. Her compositions include chamber and choral music, electro-acoustic pieces for contemporary dance and multi-media performance art work. An experienced performer of classical and popular music, her various roles have included pianist, harpsichordist, violinist, session recording musician and Musical Director.
Amanda is a Senior Lecturer in Music at the University of Hertfordshire where she has taught on composition and music technology degree courses since 1999. She has also lectured at Middlesex University on the academic modules for BA and MA Performing Arts.
