Seamus Heaney Disk In Production

UHR are proud to announce that we are in the final production stages of our soon to be released disk with Seamus Heaney and Raymond Warren. Irish poet Seamus Heaney has received the T. S. Eliot Prize (2006) and the Nobel prize in literature (1995). The poetry contained on the disk is read by Seamus, and sits on top of Musical composition by Raymond Warren.

The disk will also include Warren’s song cycle “In my childhood” for soprano and chamber orchestra. These are settings of poems by Louis McNeice and will be performed by Olivia Robinson with the University Chamber Orchestra conducted by Robin Browning.
